Jewellers Reveal New Video + Remix EP // Debut Album ‘Sleep Education’ Due Out 10th October

Newport duo Jewellers’ are set to release their debut album‘Sleep Education’ on the 10th October via up and coming UK label The Sounds of Sweet Nothing (Gross Magic, Tashaki Miyaki).
Lead album track ‘Tape’ has been given a brand new video courtesy of Bristol based film-maker Jack Offord. A rich, ambient number swelling with electronic beats the accompanying video follows a cassette-listening man through deserted, late night streets.

To coincide with the release of ‘Sleep Education’, Jewellers will be collaborating with some of their favourite UK artists for a series of remix EP’s which will be made available for free download to everyone who purchases the album. The first of which is their Tape EP which features remixes fromSun Glitters, Alone and Pinemarten.

Having grown up together, Jewellers’ music has evolved over the course of 5 years. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Four Tet, Animal Collective and Quantic, they began to record and produce music with more layers, samples and intricate structures and these are the songs that emerge on ‘Sleep Education’ which is available to stream in it’s entirety via their Bandcamp.

Jewellers will be playing their album launch show as a part of label night for Sounds of Sweet Nothing at London’s The Shacklewell Arms on 10th October with Au Palais and Halls supporting. Tickets are available here.
