Tame Impala caused somewhat of an online avalanche this week, with the unveiling of their new track ‘Apocalypse Dreams’ from hotly-anticipated second album ‘Lonerism’. Not only was the band and track trending for almost 24 hours worldwide on the Monday, the song was hailed as Pitchfork’s Best New Track and trumpeted everywhere from NME.com to Brooklyn Vegan. Weirdly in these situations you get random celeb endorsement happening too: Colin Hanks tweeted his excitement yesterday.
