Christmas is rounding the corner faster than Rudolf on steroids and thoughts are consequently turning to album of the year lists. So here’s a brief run down of all the albums Create Spark has had the pleasure to represent in 2011.

End Of The Road last weekend featured no less than 6 of our acts amidst an overall great line-up. (Mogwai, Tune-Yards, M Ward, Gruff Rhys and Phosphorescent’s solo set were particular highlights.)
Okkervil River (pictured above) were set to headline the Garden Stage on Saturday. With help from the promoters, press office, band and a lot of friendly word of mouth, we expanded what started off as a session for The Line of Best Fit into a secret gig in the Forest Disco as an extra treat for their fans.
On the Sunday, The Leisure Society played a filmed session for Rockfeedback TV. And rather fetching they looked too nestled in the Piano Stage in the woods.
